The Centre of Practical Skills Enugu had the honour to receive Rachael Schipper, Stephen Agwu, Kai Ratcliffe from Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) GmbH Friday, April 14, 2023.

The purpose of the visit was to see the students learning and discuss the practice of training activities in the Centre of Practical Skills. 

On this occasion, ICMPD Regional Resources Management Manager, Abuja, Nelson Amade and ICMPD Project Officer, Operations, Enugu, Onyeka Akunna, had the opportunity to show the Plumbing, masonry and Electrical installation lab to the team, after which the students made presentations of their learnings.

Next was a tour of the European business park where the Centre of Practical Skills is situated

CoPS is implemented by the International Centre for Migration Policy Development (ICMPD) and funded by the Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ) via the project “Skills Development for Youth Employment” which is implemented by Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) GmbH, and co-funded by the Austrian Development Cooperation (ADC).
